New paper: Resurgent landlordism in a student city: urban dynamics of private rental growth

Together with Barend Wind and Rowan Arundel I published a new paper in Urban Geography on resurgent landlordism in Groningen, a medium-sized Dutch student city. Using municipal registers we were able to give a detailed profile of the type of landlords active on the Groningen market, the size of their portfolio, the geography of their investments and dynamics of private rental growth.

You can read the paper here (open access)!

This paper is part of my three year research project into private landlordism, funded by a VENI grant. gro1
